Acupuncture points can also be employed to ripen the cervix and encourage the downward movement of your baby, further stimulating the release of oxytosin.

There have been some studies on acupuncture and it’s effect on inducing labour which showed that using acupuncture to stimulate labour in overdue mothers to be had a success rate of 88%.
